Knowledge and research agenda for Biological Forensic Investigation
The knowledge and research agenda for Biological Forensic Investigation focuses on the development of new methods and procedures for biological traces investigation, both in techniques and in the field of interpretation. This is for the purpose of investigating and providing evidence in criminal cases, for identification in missing person cases or in the event of a disaster, and for testing scenarios, or proving whether something is biological material which possession is punishable (for example under the Opium Act).
